How much notice to book a shoot?
Generally 1-4 weeks notice depending on diary bookings
How long is a session?
I offer 2 different sessions, Classic is 60 minutes and Elite is 90 minutes.
Where can we shoot?
I have a few ideas that work well for a shoot that we can decide on together. I can also set up a studio style shoot in the comfort of your own home, or in my own studio. We will arrange a suitable location in and around Christchurch (within 30km) to take some beautiful photos. If you're outside of this radius, then we can still shoot, but there will be a small additional travel cost. Happy to discuss your requirements.
How do I pay for the shoot?
A $100, non refundable deposit is to be paid upon booking and the balance is due before the shoot date.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Understandably issues arise where a reschedule is required, where ever possible, 1 weeks notice to be given.
What if we get bad weather on the day?
Mother nature sometimes has a wobble and if bad weather is given, I'm happy to reschedule or find a sheltered location or even a studio shoot. We would make this decision together.
What if my child or pet is having a bad day?
Children and animals are always unpredictable but my images come from play and being natural so no hard and fast rules to obey or instructions to follow. I'm sure we will capture something special, but if it ends in total disaster, I'm always happy to reshoot.
How long until we get to see the images?
I endeavor to have your full digital gallery available in 2 to 3 weeks from the date of the shoot.
Can I print & share?
Absolutely, I supply the images in digital format so please print and share as you wish. Just no edits, filters or manipulation to be made to any images please.
What shall we wear?
I find neutral colours work well for many shoots and coordinate a similar colour palette of colours rather than everyone being dressed in the same shade and colour and heavy fussy prints such as stripes and spots, logos and hats are ideally best avoided. Also be aware if you have glasses where the lenses transition to sunglasses, these don't always have the desired effect on your final images. and I would be saddened if something as simple as this was to spoil your images.
